Dr. Holly Atkinson, CEO of HeartScreen America, to Speak at National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair in Boston

Boston, MA – 23 Jan 2007:  Dr. Holly Atkinson, CEO of HeartScreen America of Andover, MA, is scheduled to present an informative and entertaining speech on women and heart disease at the National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair in Boston, MA. The 7th annual National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair is organized by Sister to Sister: Everyone Has a Heart Foundation, Inc. and will be open to the public from 9AM to 6PM on February 16th, 2007 at The Shops at Prudential Center in Boston, MA.  Dr. Atkinson is scheduled to present at 12:30PM.

A gifted and noted public speaker, Dr. Atkinson delivers informative, humorous and inspiring presentations and empowers participants to ask hard questions and demand responsible answers. Shedding new light on the latest medical news, she guides audiences through the challenges that consumers face today, including the best preventive medicine, women’s health issues, and the varied sources of medical information reported in the media. Dr. Atkinson’s business acumen, media savvy, editorial proficiency and medical expertise bring a unique blend of experience and skill to her work.

Held in 16 cities across the country, the National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair strives to promote awareness of heart disease in women in the form of a fun and interactive experience. The National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair will feature exhibitors, speakers, demonstrations, and free comprehensive heart-health screenings with immediate results.

Women of all ages are encouraged to obtain a heart health screening, which will include measuring total and HDL cholesterol, blood glucose, blood pressure, BMI, and overall risk assessment for heart disease provided by HeartScreen America. The results are given on-site and include medical counseling provided by Massachusetts General Hospital Heart Center. The screening and the health fair are free events.
