HeartScreen America Named the Official Screening Partner of National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair in Boston

Boston, MA – 19 Jan 2007:  HeartScreen America of Andover, Massachusetts is pleased to announce its partnership with Sister to Sister: Everyone Has a Heart Foundation as the official screening partner for the National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair in Boston, MA. The 7th annual National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair will be held on February 16th, 2007 at The Shops at Prudential Center in Boston, MA. The event will be open to the public from 9 am – 6 pm and is free of charge.

Held in 16 cities across the country, the National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair strives to promote awareness of heart disease in women in the form of a fun and interactive experience. The National Woman’s Heart Day Health Fair will feature exhibitors, speakers, demonstrations, and free comprehensive heart-health screenings with immediate results.

Women of all ages are encouraged to obtain a heart health screening, which will include measuring total and HDL cholesterol, blood glucose, blood pressure, BMI, and overall risk assessment for heart disease provided by HeartScreen America. The results are given on-site and include medical counseling provided by Massachusetts General Hospital Heart Center. HeartScreen America’s CEO and Scientific Advisory Board Member Dr. Holly Atkinson will also be presenting an informative and entertaining speech on women and heart disease, and the company will have an exhibit booth demonstrating their mobile screening room set-up.
