Saving the Lives of America's First Responders

The facts speak for themselves.  Men and women serving on the front lines of law enforcement in American cities and towns have significantly higher rates of heart disease than the general public.  Firefighters suffer more on-the-job fatal heart attacks than people in any other profession, and the National Fire Protection Association suggests screening could assist with prevention of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).

Time to Take Charge

Most municipal law enforcement, fire protection, and emergency service agencies do not screen first responders routinely for heart defects or the underlying conditions that cause heart disease.
